Bahrain's highest court upheld the jail terms for nine medics accused of providing medical assistance to protesters, reporting injuries to foreign media, and participating in the protests last year. The Bahraini government claims that their actions were aimed to encourage unrest, while the international community, including the United States and Amnesty International, was critical of the ruling.
