What if every voice was heard?

The Internet make universal human consensus
achievable in our lifetimes!

VoteGlobal plans to help create just that - universal human consensus and suffrage. Our aim is to create a virtual online democratic government that represents the world. A government in online exile that acts in the same way a real world government would but without the risks. We will be the Facebook of global democracy and the Twitter of global political commentary. We want to truly democratize the way political decision making works - at least in our virtual world. One day we hope the virtual world will influence the real one. For now we just want to be the leaders in creating a new global digitocracy.

Global Federalists have been discussing concepts for World Government for centuries with a significant crescendo post the World Wars when many organizations were formed to create a new world order in the hope of preventing future such wars.

Over time a number of strong international institutions have evolved with the most recent being the International Criminal Court which has been quite high profile but the chances of moving to any real world government seem to be remote in the immediate political future. The risks to incumbent governments and the stability of the world's political and economic systems is too high and there would be so many unintended consequences nobody would have the courage to go ahead let alone the whole world.

But what if we could achieve some of the benefits without the risk? We think VoteGlobal can begin to take us on that journey. Join us in creating a whole new political dynamic. Can we build a Global Democracy? Your Membership Makes it Possible.

QuickPolls - Any visitor to our site can vote in our issues based Quickpolls and see the results analyzed a number of different ways.

Elections - Registered voters can vote in our polls that track all the major elections and referendums occurring in the world. See how the result would change if different constituencies voted. Vote in elections that you're not eligible to vote in off-line.

SimPoll - This is our digitocracy in action! When complete we will be operating a fully fledged virtual government of elected avatar representatives. To become a representative, an avatar can be created by any voter or group of voters, receive sufficient petitions of support to be listed as a candidate and then run an election campaign and win. Once elected to the government each representative can propose and vote on legislation.
